MONSTA has just released their self-titled EP from [OWSLA] and we are thrilled! “Holdin’ On” blends Gospel roots and dubstep loops and is better described as a work of art in verse-chorus form than anything else. The Skrillex and Nero remix takes an already organic masterpiece and adds a fast pace energy and depth. “Messiah” continues delivering a soulful message and beautiful melody while simultaneously breaking nearly every dubstep cliché. The Alvin Risk remix adds a “Material Girl” bass track and cranks the energy dial up to 11. “Where Did I Go” is simply a track for the ages, but the Dillon Francis and Kill Paris remix of it is truly a throwback, znd evidently, they went back to the 1980′s.
