Tut Tut Child – We’re All Mad Here EP [Review]

Tut Tut Child‘s EP ‘We’re All Mad Here’ (Monstercat Media) is now out, and we are relatively pleased.  Only Tut Tut could seamlessly blend sounds of the future with those of the past.

“Singularity”
is quite simply the aural manifestation of Kurzweil’s famous notion, and Tut Tut grinds it out with the utmost enthusiasm.  “Alive” feat. Emily Underhill is as atmospheric as it is beautiful.  “Card Shark” takes an 80′s electronic vibe and whips up a track that does nothing but hype.  Oh, and the melodic hook is good too!  “Made It For Me” feat. Kendall Morgan could pass for a Rihanna track in the vocal department, but better and with a drop.  “Yockenthwaite” is perhaps the most adventurous track on the Ep and makes as little sense as its title, but who cares? We don’t!  “A Jester Affair” is no doubt a throwback to Tut Tut’s electro house days but with an added mix of deep bass, something we can all enjoy!
